Wearing a rather whimsical dress, Richa attended an Awards event held in Dubai not too long ago. With her hair worn straight down, she finished out the look with a dark lip and a palm ring. The dress isn’t quite our cup of tea but on the red carpet, it photographed a whole lot better than we expected it to. Besides, Richa seems to own her look which helps. Left to us, we’d have just skipped the sheer overlay.

Edgy and strikingly bold!
I find it rather refreshing to see celebrities to wear fresh and upcoming labels which have the potential to change the face of red carpet game in India and abroad. I admire Richa for taking risk and working this dress which has more of a global aesthetic to it. It’s always nice to see the red carpet ninjas to breakaway from the usual names, expected trends and the horrid stereotypical silhouettes.
I love the overall look. The sheer overlay is what gives that beautiful edge to a fairly well-known and oft-used geometric pattern. And you used the word whimsical so well. She reminds me Winona Ryder and her whimsical, constantly bewildered, wide-eyed beauty. But the red lipstick and Richa Chadda’s poise bring a sense of a very mature innocence. Overall nice!

Wish she’d put her hair up. With this she looks like she doesn’t have a neck. The dress isn’t looking bad on the red carpet..
Harlequin print is never a good choice unless it’s on the pavement. So that dress was doomed from the start. The flower fishnet just completed the disaster.
She owns the look? HA HA. She looks pretty clownish doing all that pose with that gown. She always looks pretty bad.

I think this look is spunky! The outfit is definitely something very different (and gorgeous) and Richa wears it well.
