In Sabyasachi

Lest we have any doubts of Ms. Mukherjee’s marital status, the just married actor gave us head-to-toe red in her Sabyasachi suit. Radiant as she looks, that’s a whole lot of color to take in. Wish she had ditched those pointy-toe red suede platform pumps!

  1. This is plain fugly. Floor length anarkalis are not for the vertically challenged. Even wearing such high heels aint helping.

  2. I know that she wants to shout out that she is a “Suhagan” now by wearing all red.. But that is just a lot of red especially the shoes are such a downer. And frankly it looks like she is having trouble walking in them.
On a side note.. Congrats Rani..

  3. Not that the look is anything to speak of however the shoes remind me of Kkekta’s dreaded shoes that used to feature on here.

  4. Argh. My first thought was “she’s going down the Aishwarya route, post marriage/baby – floor length, full sleeve anarkalis and unkept hair”. Hope Rani proves me wrong…

  5. There are better pics … the ones here don’t do justice. She looked so much a glowing bride :).

    However, she does need a stylist :-/ … and a make-up artis :-/.
Those shoes with that dress?? Why did not Sabya stop her from wearing them!!!!!!

  6. In the minority here, but I really like the red Sabya outfit. The shoes are too chunky though and it stumps her. Make-up could have been better but at least she is not painted.

  7. I like the bottom and the top, very pretty indeed. The kurta could have been a different colour/shade. Having said that, a glowing bride is a glowing bride.

  8. Keep the dress, change the hair, change the footwear, I am sure she would have looked much better that way…. right now, its hurting my eyes!!

  9. I get that she got married but wearing that sindoor all the way till the back of her head is such a downer. I am sure there are better ways to do this.

  10. The dress dint photograph well under all those flashes and made the red quite bright. But other wise looks ok except those matching red pumps. Nude sandals might worked better.

  11. Love it all! (Except for the shoes, but she’s so short, so its ok 🙂 )

How is her anarkali any worse than Parineeti’s curtain style one at the same event? I don’t get it!

  12. I actually love that outfit. Not the shoes. But, the outfit is fun. I cut her the slack for the rest coz she is a brand new bride. Except the shoes, I have no issues.

  13. Literally seeing red here. I wish Kiran Rao would give lessons on discretion and subtlety to the married women of bollywood.
