she has that dead expression…it’s sort of scaring me
    and her hair looks dry
the model def. works it better
(then again, I can’t stand Rani)

I can’t stand her either. I think its the voice. And the vanilla-ness. And the voice.

Why does she not dress like that more often? She’s so pretty! But yes, her hair does look dry.

omg! as an avid rani fan, this was refreshing. she looks breathtaking. there are always gonna be haters^ but i think she rocked the black!

    nice dress

That dress is not appropriate for some one with Rani’s body shape. Although the top of the picture looks good except for the dry hair.

Why are her pupils red for a picture from a photoshoot?

    Sorry rani786 :)
but I just have to say YESSSSSS!! I’m really not the only one in the world that hates Rani Mukerjee!!!!!!
(although, I do have to say that I think she is a relatively good actress- there is just something about her that rubs me the wrong way)

i started hating her after i saw her real self on koffee with karan..she is such a fake person!

I simply cannot see anything special in her that makes her standout.. Unless you consider her voice and height. Still, I would like her better if she would dress according to what suits her and not follow the shorter-than-thou trends in her movies… Doesn’t suit her at all….

I don’t know if I’d call Rani FAKE… a kiss-up, sure. Miss. Goodie Two Shoes, yeah. She seems like a lot of the girls I come across. She’s sweet/cute/good actress, but she lacks an interesting personality.

loving rani’s eye make up! however, i have seen this gal face 2 face sans make up and she looks HORRIFIC. aaaah! the miracles of make up! :-) she has bad hair too, which kinda shows here.

Hi-Fives all around on the Rani Bugs Me bit.

nothing wow about her…she looks good in sabyasachi only….

the blue dress is lovely. i don’t like rani’s voice. it’s like sandpaper.

She looks lovely. She knows how to act and looks good with all her co-stars. That’s all that matters. I think she is someone who doesn’t like to reveal herself too much. She is a little boring. But she makes up for it with her work.

Looking at Rani is putting me to sleep, she’s so borrring! She’s just *such* a goodie-two-shoes, why is it that top bollywood actresses have to be such sathi-savitris in public life these days?? Superstar actresses of yesteryear may have played demure on-screen but their off-screen lives were nothing short of scandalous and look at these actresses now!

Anyway, she chose a boring version of the dress, Nina’s purple is so awesome in comparison!

Wow, there are so many Rani-haters, who knew? I think her outfit is a change from her usual Indian look, and her eyes look amazing. There’s really not much she can do with her voice and hair, and I don’t see anything wrong with her voice, it’s just husky. Also, not everyone has silky hair, I certainly don’t! Athough I’ve tried many attempts to get that effect.

She’s a good actor and I don’t think she needs to attend inane parties just to show that she’s around, and she’s nowhere as irritating as Aishwarya and Katrina, and definitely more real than them.

      i agree wid u…

Ditto to what HK wrote. She may not be everyone’s favorite, but she certainly is daring in the roles she takes on and is still a star in an industry that is rapidly becoming all about western conventions of looks, style and character.

whts wrong with rani’s hair ? She had a trend setting layer cut in the late 90’s. I doesn’t looks too bad here except not having a lot of sheen.

  23. melange at | | Reply

Her pupils are that way cuz she’s probab wearing contact lens. urghhhh..why do they do that!

  24. rubywoo at | | Reply

I have tried very hard to like her bur she is sooooooooooo bland and has the charisma of wood, she is marginally more talented than most of the actresses in bollywood but that isn’t really saying much seeing as most are hired on ability to look good whilst playing the love interest.

She is very short and dumpy looking, the voice is grating – have you ever seen this girl in an interview – I think if she ever said anything vaguely interesting she would spontaneously combust!

This post has made me feel so, not alone anymore!
    High-Fives indeed

her hair is fried and her skin looks so dry and that eye makeup is not flattering at all.. and her face looks different.. no matter how much she tries to be all hot and modern, she always ends up looking like an ammaji

yeah she acts sweet to the media and kisses up to all the big stars, she is super fake.. i have heard people IN the industry who deal with her sayshe is very sly and two faced..

and also her “best friends” change as their “power” and popularity changes in the industry, that says a lot..

  27. Prem Rogue at | | Reply

    She’s looking fairly okay there.

But wow I’m glad I’m not the only one who finds her a suck-up. And that quote of hers on the right side of the page sounds like rubbish. If she truly loved her craft she go out and do some really interesting and challenging roles instead of dancing with animated bears and cycling down rainbows just because ‘it’s Yash Uncle’s film’. She never has anything interesting to say about her movies or roles; it’s always ‘I loved working with SRK. I love him so much’, ‘I want this film to do will because it is Aamir’s film’, ‘I can’t say no to Karan Johar’, ‘I absolutely love ‘. Sorry Rani, you’re not fooling me with that ‘I’m so dedicated to my craft’ crap.

ditto HK…and I don’t know how Rani’s “best friends” have changed? I don’t understand why ppl hate on all the actresses who can actually act? I think her hair looks good and I think she looks really nice. N I LOVE her voice.

i like the dress in both blue and black. i think rani’s goody two shoes act is fake. didn’t she have an affair with govinda who is married? adit might know.
