So pretty. This is perfect though I wish she had worn maybe a simple bangle or something…her right arm looks bare.

    Is this a Dhakai saree?

OMG she is wearing a dhakai sharee, the chanel jacket of sharees, simple, classic timeless…………….sheer class,

thats a bengali jamdani sari. LOVE it.

Yup! I smiled when I saw this – such a typically Bengali sari. My mother has quite a few in different shades, and they’re absolutely stunning among the blingy, georgette-wearing brigade.

Rani looks absolutely gorgeous. I covet her collection of sarees.

she’s wearing a Dhakai, yay! but really wish she’d wear a bangle or two. she loves big earrings (like me!) and so skips the neckwear, but her wrists always look so bare.

this is a dhakai sari- its a traditional bengali weave and comes in the most exquisite earthy colours. Not too fond of pastel dhakais but i’m loving how fresh Rani looks in this!
