In Sabyasachi

Making a public appearance after a long time was Rani who attended the Vogue Beauty Awards wearing a Sabyasachi long anarkali. As predictable as the designer pick may have been here, am glad she did so because most of the guests at this event opted for gowns by Gauri & Nainika. Also, picking a black look that was tailored to her height made a big difference especially considering we’ve been having Sabyasachi’s floral sightings in recent times and some of the outfits have looked overwhelming on a few.

The only thing I would’ve tweaked here is the hairdo. Would’ve loved to see her wear the hair up in a low middle parted bun. She looked great nevertheless.

  1. This is not a nice look at all by any angle.
The voluminous drape and belt gives her an as-if belly, and the dress itself is so gloomy, dark and if I may say so sabyugly.. much prefer his floral skirts and a chic blouse. On Rani, all the volume and disastrous belt only makes her look more short and wide

I didnt mind the hair but the make up is super patchy

  2. I can’t believe this is sabya. Looks so average & run of the mill. Where is his signature. Even rani can’t salvage this

  3. This look is just so pathetic. It can be a Sabyasachi but it is ugly as hell. The belt is sitting on top her tummy. And what has she done to her face in the name of contouring, so fake. All these ladies have been in the industry so friggin’ long and still don’t know what clothes suit them, to do make up, find right accessories even with a stylist.

  4. Horrible makeup! The contouring around/on her nose makes it look almost non existant!

The dress is nice but not something i would pick for Rani
