December 10th, 2012 at 4:40 pm . by PayalWearing a BCBG pleated dress Rani celebrated Talaash’s success at the film’s bash. Unfortunately, as cute as the dress is, on Rani it made her look big just because it fell long.
She had the styling right (cute wedges!), but the dress itself didn’t work on her.

The dress is knee length not suppose to be a maxi! Also the shoes are just too matchy. If I were a celebrity is get my clothes altered to fit right. The right fit and length could have looked great. Maybe even a thin belt to define her waist.
make up is perfect and I like the hippy dippy vibe of the dress…
I love the dress. She looks better in the second picture. And those wedges are the worst.
Rani looks stunning in Indian wear, this kind of outfit never works well on her, surprised she chose it.
I might get flack for saying this, but Rani can’t pull of Western looks. She’s the queen of Sarees, but doesn’t carry off Western wear with any ease!

tent dresses are horrible no matter what shape u are. if ur skinny makes u look more scrawny n malnourished. if ur a voluptuous makes u even more fatso!

This is not so bad, if one considers the other Sabyasachi suits she sports and drowns in. Maybe hair tied and smaller clutch (not in white) would have made it even better.

She doesn’t look as bad as you guys describe it. Rani does look cute in her second pic. It is definitely a really good attempt.
I love the dress and I think she looks great. Hair and makeup is spot on. Maybe a thin belt would’ve made her look thinner but I love it even the way it is.
She is somehow working the dress but I totally dislike the hair, sleeker do would have helped. That clutch also is an eyesore for me.
I think the dress isint easy to pull off by anyone. Even the model looks overwhelmed in it. Actually Rani looks ok in the 2nd pic.
