Rani On Filmfare: (Un)Covered

In the past, Filmfare issues haven’t excited us. After all, it is more about interviews rather than clothes. But, of late, the magazine has been giving us some very interesting covers.

This month, it’s Rani in a bohemian look wearing a Drashta Sarvaiya bustier top and Anita Dongre Timeless.

You can catch a snippet of the interview Here.

  1. In her first picture, looks like she took her bitch-face character in No one killed jessica to heart!
but she looks dew fresh indeed, love that skirt!

  2. Love the shoot ! Different from the usual colour background, big hair, pout, sexy pose covers we see.

And love Rani’s look complete with Nathni and all. a black snake bindi might have fit too..lol…
    Nice skirt and accessories !

  3. wow. nice & different….expressions, background.
The bottom right photo should have been on the cover page instead.
dont like bustier top at all.

  4. hey guys…im soo glad that u changed the format of switching pages to numbers rather than previous n nxt entry..that was soo annoying and frustating..also the shoe game was pretty cool…good job guys ..im adictd to this page…guess ur doing something rite:)

  5. love her look..especially the jewellery and skirt..it’s a really nice cover..very summery…i am lusting after the skirt and jewellery!

    • this whole shoot is photoshopped to the max – and BADLY! Look at the 2nd pic – they have photoshopped under her arms so much that the dress is sticking out.

  6. Love the inside pics but not liking the cover, terribly photoshopped and that’s not her true skin color.. the clothes are really cool, glad she is able to flaunt her body like that after all that weight loss

    • I agree totally..am so sick and tired of seeing skin being bleached by photoshop..on another note..i love the gypsy skirt…

  7. loving every bit of it…guess it’s just one of those covers where everything fell into place…WANT the jewellery!! glad that i have a very similar cuff to the one she’s wearing :)

  8. whoa… is this really Filmfare… good work with the styling and all… Rani looks awesome… the clothes, the styling, the accessories are soooo “Rani”.. but too much photo-shopping is one of my pet peeves… but oh well… she still looks gorgeous!

  9. Love the clothes and jewellery. The second and third pictures are awesome, the first one is not bad either, although slightly off.
Love this Bohemian look on her. She should wear such clothes more often.

  10. I agree, the best pic is the bottom right one; with top and skirt. Its got a bohemian, free and fresh, I don’t care kind of look that I really like. Her hair is natural and looks great with the rest. It feels like she is resting, checking her feet just after performing a dance…Furthermore, it looks like she has lost some weight! Great Pic!

  11. I have never been a fan of Rani’s dressing style… but this one is amazing.. she looks fresh and awesome.. maybe she should hire this stylist for her personal styling as well…

  12. I agree with arpitha. The bottom right picture should’ve been the cover.
And the Anita Timeless Skirt reminds me SO MUCH of this garment made by Nikhil of Shantanu&Nikhil from when I was working there. The brocade;s the exact replica and so is the basic silhouette.
    Liking Rani Mukherjee after ages.

  13. wouldve loved a big black round bindi on the cover, to go with her outfit. would have “rounded” off the look, i think! but my favourite is the white dress…so fresh, happy and all things nice!

  14. Agree with the comments about photoshop, gori skin etc but how fabulous does Rani look!! Love her clothes and jewelry. Absolutely the best photo shoot of hers.
