Wearing a white suit with chaand-style balis (a favorite style of hers), Rani attended the premiere of Talaash. Am not a fan of the cut of the suit (the line on the bust) but she looked nice.

I do have a big issue though with those Ekta-style platform chappals she sported with the Sabyasachi sari on The Front Row.

  1. Ok. I have had this doubt since her appearance at the jab tak hai jaan premiere. Is she pregnant? That anarkali at the top looks like maternity wear. I know, I know it’s not but the line at the bust makes me feel so.

Now I am off my soapbox

  2. The look in suit is sheer perfection! Wouldn’t change a thing! The horizontal line included. I love this cut, I have worn it multiple times myself, and it’s very flattering on tall girls … and Rani makes that happen by smartly adding high heels. Bravo! I didn’t have to write so much though, cuz she had me at the color combo anyways.

  3. She looks great in the suit and carries it off well: love her makeup and the sea green/aqua bindi! This is how I like to see Rani: glowing and glamorous!! And yes, agreed re: the Ekta style chaps!!

  4. Those shoes are hideous! Noticed a lot of ladies that generation sporting them, kajol and ektaa ect. Please ladies choose style over comfort once in a while, otherwise she looks pretty.

  5. She looks good in the suit but still don’t like it much. I don’t get why she is dressing in a way that ages her. And those horrendous shoes……Rani, what were you thinking???

  6. really hate these chappals with saree!! but she’s looking cute in both appearances . I dont find these colors with white much interesting but the Gota work is very nice and the cut is very cute too , loving the panels …
