The second look…without the necklace. That was unnecessary.

The second one minus the deep neckline. The first one has something off about it though I can’t quite pinpoint it.

First of all, I do NOT like Queenie’s sangeet look.

But still, when you take into consideration the ‘barbie at the disco’ theme and the fact that this was a traditional, Indian occasion, the outfit does qualify:

The rhinestones contribute to the disco factor, the outfit and the accesories are desi enough for the traditional occasion and when taken in the context of the sangeet, it does have a barbie-ish feel to it.

Much as I dislike the ensemble, if a desi barbie was ever to go to a Sangeet held at a disco (shudder) this is what she would wear!

That still doesn’t excuse the makeup or the hair though!!! WHY do so many Indian socialites go crazy and totally overdo their makeup, especially the blush?

the second look IS marginally better, but only marginally and tthis time she does not have a dress code excuse to justify it!!!

The dress might have worked if the accesories had been MUCH better:but the tacky gold clutch and shoes kill an already mediocre dress and the jewellery just makes things worse

Still kudos to the woman, it isn’t every 50 year old woman who has a figure like that (I think queenie must be around fifty)

when will she start dressing her age??

whats this about dressing her age ….she can give any 30 year old run for her money …she is OTT on her bling factor many times but still if REKHA can get away with bling at that age then why point at Queenie… just because Rekha gives u overdose of DEsi bling and queenie gives u sexy at fifty look :)

no offense meant , just a thought

dat grace is soo much missing frm her..a 30 yr old would have carried it much better..its not about desi/ western outfit that makes a difference preeti, its the charm..n she’s already lost that waaay back:))

love the western outfit.. it exactly does good things to her body… well defined upper part and a narrow waist..

dunno why,i like the tradtional (left ) look better
i think if she had taken the dupatta properly, this outfit will be far better..i like the one on the right but its not too good in white..would be better in some other colour/fabric..

I love Le Queens – she’s a stunner, seems to have fun with her clothes, even there isn’t a single thing in her wardrobe that I’d ever wear. But, different strokes for different folks.

I’m trying to recall what she looked like when she used to appear in ads as Queenie Singh, and from what I remember, she looks better now than she did then.

i think she looks great in both outfits. one has to give her credit for looking great at 50.

the white western outfit is much better than the indian one.
i would ditch the accessories … the necklace especially !!!

she really needs a new make-up guy… or if she dosent have one – then hire one girl!

wat is she 40 plus? for that she has gorg. body i agree but all those yrs and u still havent learnt how 2 use the body!

i have no clue how she rose to fame, for wat? the sangeet is the best dress i have seen on her. her fame will always remain a puzzle.

the sangeet outfit looks marginally nice..makeup is horrendous..so over the top.. the second outfit, it you at it from the legs up is nice..both outfits do not look age appropriate for her….either she really is too old for the outfits or the makeup is seriously aging her…

she does need to dress a little more age appropriate. granted she has a banging body for someone her age (assuming she’s anywhere over 40), but there is something called carrying yourself well. it’s not like she spent her 20s and 30s in jail and is now wearing really revealing clothes to catch up…she should have had her fill of all things skimpy by now…she could be a little more covered up and people wud still think she has a hot body. she used to be a lot more classy a few years ago, but with all this recent media publicity the sheen seems to have faded a bit….
