Yin And Yang- Part Deux
We’ll take Queenie’s big hair over Malaika’s barely there dress.
We’ve seen this Hervé Léger on Queenie before and think she wears her bandage dresses rather well. And while Malaika does too, can’t quite say the same this time around. The accessories work separately but together, nothing about this look worked for us. The dress which we think is an Armaan By Sunaina Puri definitely didn’t.

they both have great figures and can totally carry off the dresses
As always, Malaika is smoking. Oddly enough the half silver toned ,half gold toned accessorizing doesn’t bother me.
I’ve said this before and I say it again, I would have been TOTALLY EMBARASSED if my mother would have stepped out in public like that. Agreed she has a banging bod but what about age appropriateness? Add 6 inches to that same dress and she would have look great!
Age and Event appropriateness is a MUST for everyone!
Speak for yourself!
Please don’t define MUSTs for other people only for yourself.
Agree wid Janshen. Speak for yourself.
Malaika has the confidence and a body to carry off that dress. What bothers you if it doesn’t bother her or anyone she would consider taking advise from? Clearly… someone is Green :-p
Exactly. Malaika looks tres tacky. I would use another word but it would not be polite.
Queenie looks lovely.
🙂 and I guess she had no plans of sitting with that little dress on 🙂
i was wondering how celebs manage to sit and bend with such short dresses. very britney spears,if you ask me.
lol … hahaha !!
both ladies look hot!
i disagree with naiad’s comment that age and event appropriateness is a must. if everyone started following that, life would be excruciatingly boring. there are certain events such as weddings, etc, where one should be respectful and wear appropriate clothes and also i think one should respect other people’s cultures,ie, not wear revealing clothes in certain countries or small towns but when it comes to these functions in mumbai, i think a little creative licence is fine.
Good point! But for me creative license does not mean a mother in her thirties wearing an itty bitty barely there dress!
I mean look at Sridevi, a woman in her fifties. She wears short tight numbers as well but she is elegance personified event after event. Whereas Malaika looks embarassing (to put it kindly)!
Totally agree!
I would have said it better myself Naiad..very well said!
Malika looks fantastic!
The dress is bit too tight and too short but it is perfectly suited for the world she lives in, and the people she moves among also dress in similar manner.
I’m a bit bored of Queenie in Leger but atleast I’ll take this over her other blingy appearances. Malaika looks good! Love her accessories especially those Camilla Skovgaard Snake-effect leather pumps.
Malaika needs to retire that watch. I’m sure she paid a fortune for it because she wears is with every single outfit of hers.
btw malaika loooks gorgeous
Only Malaika can carry off such tight ans short outfits! I tihnk thr is no such thing as age where it comes to dressing up and having fun with it!
love her camilla skovgard shoes too!
don’t care about the length… but the hem line finishing on Malliaka’s dress is tacky!!
Malaika simply looks hot….Maybe not the classiest dress, but all other comments are made of jealousy…
is malaika missing her tights ROFL
