Wow ! PC in sari? i like the fact that she took a different route this time around..but m not too big on this look..may be smiling help here??

PS.. WHY everybody is looking like they are some other version of DP?? strange but she looks like DP to me…

It does look like she’s channeling DP here. She comes across as someone who’s too scared to go the traditional route. I was almost going to believe that this look was 100% conservative until I scrolled down and saw the huge “back window”. Never liked her sartorial choices, and I have to say this is the least trashy I have seen her.

This is defo the least trashy one. Not super amazing but at least its an improvement.

I like the saree.. but hate the white layer of makeup.. I dont expect makeup artists to teh stars to make mistakes which cheap parlorwali aunties make.

Why is she standing at attention in all the pictures? And with that wary look in her eyes? She doesn’t look comfortable or like she owns the look.

WOW for the first time she made something not look cheap…i think she looks beautiful.

Sorry Priyanka but I will have to disagree with you on this one! She looks amazing. I was so tired of looking at the same old sarees. She is rocking every bit of this look!

She looks good. This is event appropriate.

    PC looks fantastic.

I love this ! What a welcome change. Its always nice to see her something thats not short, tight and sleeveless. A bindi is just so underrated in how it increases the “beauty” in such looks. Love everything here. So event appropriate too.

      +1. PC looks fab!

She looks good but not comfortable. She’s standing like a dummy!

I’m not particularly loving the blouse on her and she just looks uneasy and unsure overall. If she had owned this look with a bit more confidence, it would’ve been better.

Strong dislike…This ages her…she looks much older than her age…

Too severe and restrained. No fluidity, flounce or movement which is so very important with the sari! She looks so static she could be in Madam Tussauds.

She looks great , but the make up is a little bit too much .

She looks absolutely lovely…but does not seem to be comfy in this look. Maybe if she did this more often?

She looks like DP’s replica & that is not what she should be going for. The blouse somehow does not bring the look together….maybe a plain black blouse without the embroidery would have been so much better.

She looks good. But I do wish the blouse (sleeves) was different.

      me too.

So gimmicky! Too much going on – the look is so severe, its begging for something to soften it up. She should’ve toned down the makeup and the hair.

Its a different look but nothing to make you go WOW. The makeup is not good, its so many shades lighter and looks bad. WIsh that she had gone for a softer hairstyle

  19. Flier at | | Reply

She’s so resembling Ms. Padukone in the 2nd row pictures :O

  20. Tania at | | Reply

The hairstyle is too severe for this look but have to admit, she looks fantastic. Nice to see her here after so long.

She looks stunning but the pose…very manniquinish…something off about it!

  22. arpitha at | | Reply

Definitely a different look on her, but does not look ‘wow’.Too much red on face with the big red bindi, red lip stick and the earrings, blouse dont look good.

She looks well put-together. A tad too much like Deepika, but good nonetheless.

She looks beautiful ! I love the bindi on her..

Looks good but who dresses like that for a book launch !!!!!!

What all is going on in this saree; colours, fabrics, drape, blouse… Sabya needs some time off. In the last pic PC looks like she’s about to keel over with the utter nonsense of it all.

  27. Antonia at | | Reply

BEAUTIFUL ! I think she looks stunning from head to toe !

  28. Jazz at | | Reply

The pose, the earrings, the hair, that’s what’s wrong i guess. I want to like it, specially coz the drape of the saree is done so well that it looks like a readymade saree (is it??) ..but priyanka chopra just never makes me go wow.

One women who can make even a sabyasachi look tacky. She reminds me of malaika when it comes to her style sense.

I love the sari on her. It’s erally different from a conventional sari too. But then again, she looks great in everything.

Her posture is reminding me of a soldier being forced to party. This isn’t a bad look but something is off. Don’t like the front of the hair either.

  32. RM at | | Reply

This could’ve been a good look but she looks so stoic and expressionless here that I’m not really into it. I’m getting a strong Freida Kahlo vibe actually.

What everyone says: She looks like she’s being held at gunpoint, and can’t breathe for fear of falling apart. Not a comfortable look.

  34. Astha at | | Reply

I for one like the drape and the blouse

The bindi looks odd….not placed right…..looks too behenji like
