In Priyanka's case, wearing plain black pumps would have seemed more monochromatic but considering that these shoes are a statement in themselves, they are best paird with a black simple dress, just like PC did. In the other woman's case, the shocking pink and the statement shoes are what makes it look hideous. well in this case the colors don't really work together, being electric hues.
