A Rose For Priyanka

Update: Ms. Chopra is wearing a Swapnil Shinde gown.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Ms. Chopra wore a strapless two-toned ruffled gown with the Leiber Rose clutch also seen on Shilpa a while back.

For her skin tone, a white would have looked so much better than this bright two-toned creation. You like?

  1. that colour does nothing for her and I know this lady is really tiny/skinny but her shoulders look absolutely massive – my girl looks like a linebacker! – makeup is nice but looking slightly ashy in the face.

  2. Terrible makeup….it just does not go with that dress…And really why ant she try any other lipstick. Its like every time I see her shez wearing the same color…Can you tell, I’m in a bitchy mood…

  3. Nice dress. Refreshing color. Nice hair. Nice clutch. I love Glitz. But man the eye makeup was too much. Looked catwomanish. It is too much for the lovely flowly dress and soft updo. She shouldve kept the smoky look just around the eye and not smeared it to the side. Leave that for Our Bips darling.

  4. Her body looks tiny!

hair and make-up looks fine, don’t really think the colour of that gown does much for her…

love the clutch, but what on earth can u fit in it!!!

  5. She looks like a booblehead – big head, massive shoulders and tiny waist.

The dress is beautiful but the color does not suit her. Her hair makes her head look even bigger and the makeup is terrible.

This is a drab look. Priyanka is boring now.

  6. I actually like it a lot. It could have looked kind of cheap, but it looks good on her. And she should show off her awesome shoulders more often.

I agree the hair is too beauty queenish though.

  8. Really? I think she looks great…it’s the combination of the delicate-colored dress, the hair-do, her make-up, figure, and accessories..it all works. Or..i’s just a nice change from her usual bit.

  9. She’s always beautiful. I like that the dress is an unexpected color. Have to say, though, I agree with folks who think the eye makeup is too drastic…I think little to no kohl under the eyes suits her best. And a pinker hue on the lips would be a better match for the dress.

  10. yeah, i like. but only the guy sitting behind ms. chopra in the first picture. dress him up in a plain bandhgala, and he becomes a feast for my tired, hungry eyes. 😉

  12. I think she looks good and her skin just seems so smooth and soft. I remember the days when I had that skin, back when I was 16!! What a difference a few years make 🙁

  13. Hey does anyone know how tall is she??? I mean..she claims to be 5.8 but looks really small.. Im 5.7 and i look really tall in pictures. I was just wondering if its the camera angle or what??? I know if u photograph from a lower angle, it makes one look tall and vice versa!

  14. Jazz,
Priyanka was a Miss India, Miss World, and a former model ^ of course she is above the 5’7″ range.

    PnP,
does Priyanka’s dress remind you of Twinkle’s gown at the Star Screen Awards this year.

Though I’m hoping it’s no Shantanu & Nikhil or Gauri & Nainika ! Im so over them. Please let it be a western designer !

  15. the gown looks nice but a darker/more brighter colour would have been nice.. like a hot pink lol.

  16. The look is good on her – she’s veered away from the usual mini dress-straight hair. the updo is different frm how she usually wears her hair. the dress’ colour is not bad on her either.

but the material of the dress sorta looks cheap… dunno if im the only one who feels so.

P&P = any idea whose the designer?

  17. She looks terrific — slim and toned. the color of the gown is unusual for her and the updo is a nice change too – in general its nice to see her move away from her usual look.
