A Wash Out!- Part Deux

October 13th, 2009 at 9:59 pm . by Priyanka

Oh how the mighty have fallen… certainly not a look we expected to see on Ms. Zinta. Sure the Zagliani clutch and Loubs were lust-worthy but the whole ensemble (and that hair!!) just killed it for us. Killed it baaad.

What happened to Preity? The hair looks awful and her face is different. The rock chick outfit is just not cutting it.

  2. Sej says:

It looks like PC’s designer took the night off and worked O/T for PZ instead.

  3. kaya says:

I think she’s a little unaware of what she’s been doing to herself since KANK wrapped up. I’m sure if she could see what others have been seeing she would realise what;s wrong, but it’s clearly not that ay. Though I really wish she would..

Regardless Preity will always be Preity for me irrespective of all the images i’ve seen for the last 2-3 years.

She pioneered allot in regards to Fashion, attitude and her time at the peak. It will remain untouched for me. That Preity I’m sure hasn’t gone anywhere, regardless of what we’re seeing on the surface.

  4. Lalitha says:

Yes her hair needs to change…I prefer PZ with dark brown hair a la Salaam Namaste. Great figure and cute face, just a little dye job is required!

  5. Indian Girl says:

She should have gone with either the bangs or the weird color. They are both strong on their own…and the two together is an overkill
Whats up with everybody gettin bangs done ? They arnt even flatterin on most.

Dont even get me started on the clothes she borrowed form her 10 yr old cousin. GIVE IT BACK

  6. Sharin says:

I don’t know why but I actually like this look. It’s freaky in a good way.

  7. luni says:

I lke the look but the hair not that great :) she is wearing that “Being Human” tee which was for this Fashion show which explains this dress but hate the short dress !! I hope she isn’t catching the Priyanka diseases

  8. luni says:

    also she looks fresh

  9. now says:

this woman looks like a washed out star trying to re live her past

  10. Mel says:

Miley Cyrus called, she wants her look back.

  11. Kiwi says:

Noooo…. Ghastly. Are eyes seem strange-glittery-is she wearing coloured contacts???

It’s very typical in entertaiment industries isn’t it? Even in Hollywood, after a women hit’s 25-30 they’re done, while 40 going on 50 year old men (Aamir, Shahrukh, Salman) get to prance around with 18 year olds and nobody says anything.
It’s part of patriarchal society- the image of the idealized women goes WAY back. Thank God for cougars, I say- at least they’re breaking the mold.

      • gaga says:

not so much in hollywood…look at uma thurman, meryl, angelina jolie, penelope cruz. i think its more in bollywood where men dominate the industry.

      • Jazz says:

I really dont think so. Kajol made a come-back with Fanaa and it did extremely well, she’s still getting work, (My name is Khan) Aishwarya Rai is still going very strong and she came before Rani, Preity and all, Vidya Balan is 35 + (I guess) and despite coming into the industry very late, she’s in demand, Karishma was offered a lot of work, but she chose to refuse it. We assume if an actress gets married (or crosses a certain age), she stops getting work, but the truth is that many of these actresses choose to remain dedicated to their families or become extremely choosy about the kind of work they take up – because they set unrealistic standards for themselves. Most of them become stuck-up coz they’ve worked with the biggest ppl and then later they dont want to work with new, inexperienced people. Its a myth that is encouraged by the media that okay heriones are for a limited period. But we need some heroines to go ahead and prove otherwise.

  13. ila says:

horrible….even loubies can’t save this hideous outfit

  14. Rhea says:

It feels as if she is trying to get back in her tweens..

  15. rubywoo says:

is she channeling her inner teenager ??? – if so she is about decade (at least) too late. Normally love her sense of classic, understated and elegant style but this looks screams – “look at me” and comes off as trying waaay to hard a la Ms Mukhergee in recent times.

  16. ranjini says:

she looks like an aging druggie trying desperately to look young and hip

  17. ashu says:

    preity’s lookin diff n cute….very peppy…hep chick

  18. Jigisha says:

Ouch……………and thats all I gotta say about her look

  19. hana says:

    thats a teen-look, not for a grown-woman

  20. Kzd says:

She’s trying too hard – not at all ‘age appropriate’!!!!!

  21. nalini says:

in her previous appearances, she has gone with really classy looks. this is such a let down

  22. Kareena says:

such a pretty woman.. then she goes and ruins it with that monstrosity of an outfit…. mutton dressed as lamb!!

  23. DC says:

Wht happened to her? I always loved her sense of dressing but this one makes me squirm in my seat…

  24. Sonam says:

A spaghetti top or a backless one would have worked much better with that skirt

  25. renee09 says:

preity looks xtremely cute n hottt….period

  26. sd says:

    Barbie from bareilly.

  27. tresliso says:

Seriously Preity, you’re not a sixteen year old fashion victim. Don’t act like one.

    mid-life crisis?

  28. sJ says:

yuk! she looks like some wannabe actress and not an established one …

  29. sea breeze says:

the shoes are awesome, the rest isnt worth to be mentioned…

  30. Anushka says:

Oh My God.. I’m pretty sure she didn’t look in a mirror before stepping out.

  31. phantom girl says:

The fringe looks great on her….the fact that you like the Indian look with her hair done in that typical Indian way (in that turquoise blue ensemble) just shows that no matter how much you guys try, really you just like Indian clothes….leave the chick alone – she looks cute and hot – I don’t even watch Hindi films, don’t like them….but dropping designer names here and there doesn’t a great website make….
