We don’t get to see much of JJ Valaya’s design apart from on the runway but at Maxim India Magazine’s 4th Anniversary Bash, Neha makes us happy by donning one of the designer’s creations from the A/W 2009 collection. Instead of wearing the runway piece, Neha wears a more lavish jacket with the voluminous skirt. From what I see, I like. You?

You know us, we’ve always been strong advocates for ‘pop of color’, however, in this case…The blue of the shoes and the neckline was enough to have made an impact and we wish Shazahn had skipped the orange in favor of a good ol’ black clutch.

Katrina’s appearance in a Just Cavalli black gown instantly brought back memories of Bipasha in hers (see here). And, we just have to ask now, who do you prefer?

Her India vacation might be over but her love affair with the country doesn’t seem to be. Sporting a bindi, Katy walked down the red carpet wearing a nude Zac Posen dress with another Indian accent, the Leiber Maharaja elephant clutch (seen also on Anu Deewan). I want to be excited about her look, but I just can’t. The side part of the gown (see inside) and the hair killed it for me.

Katy Perry at Grammy Awards 2010

Tanvi Shah, who wrote the Spanish bit and sang in ‘Jai Ho’, attended the Grammy Awards 2010 wearing a champagne gold Tarun Tahiliani number. Kudos to Ms. Shah for going with an Indian designer and I have to say I much prefer this lace number to the other variation seen on Shilpa at her reception (see here).

P.S. Hearty congratulations to Tanvi for winning a Grammy. ‘Jai Ho’ won for best motion picture song.

Sporting a new do, Prachi made an appearance wearing aSpendthrift Falguni and Shane Peacock dress in blue that she paired with white glitter pumps. I’ve got to admit, am loving the hair on her. Makes her look so much younger. As for the outfit, am on the fence over the white glitter pumps but she still looks great. You like?

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Anushka and she doesn’t disappoint. She pairs a simple paneled beige dress with strappy sandals to give us fab look. I love.

It’s uncanny how much Mallika reminds me of Freida from the same event last year (see here). Both wore shimmery dresses with metallic sandals but while Freida went for a one-shouldered dress with pumps, Mallika goes for a strapless dress with Choo strappy sandals.

I thought Ms. Sherawat looked quite va-va-voom and considering the awards show is a cocktail reception, the dress was perfect for the occasion. My only gripe are the metallic shoes. I wish she had gone with plain black strappy sandals.

Instead of wearing this Cavalli top as is, Natasha changes it up by wearing it as a one-shouldered top minus the belt with black leather pants and a pink mini-Birkin. With the colors being so resorty/summery, wish Ms. Poonawala had picked white slightly flared pants.

Kareena goes long by wearing a Just Cavalli halter gown with gold YSL Tributes at the unveiling of “Lonely Planet’ Magazine. She wore her hair up, which was a welcome change, but the gown print is so meh.
