In Monique Lhuillier
Letting her tangerine Lhuillier do all the talking was Padma Lakshmi at the 2012 Emmy Awards. Lurrrve the color against her dusky skin.
She looks amazing.

WOW!!
What a spectacular gown and amazing colour.
she looks like a million bucks!!
and worth two billionaires and a multi millionnaire LOL ! but seriously perfect!
LOL!
The color looks absolutely delish on her. Wish Padma added some of her jewelry to the look, though.
NOo! the chandeliers-earrings are just the perfect touch, they let the gown do all the talking. After all it´s just the Emmys, not the Oscars yet! ;p
Wow she looks like a sculpture. Gorgeous!
Not a huge fan of the colour or the dress, but her glowing skin makes it all ok. Such a gorgeous face! I wish she’d worn some hammered gold jewellery though.
Hmm, “dusky”. P&P please use the word “dark”. We need to fight this prejudice against beautiful dark skin, and using clear language helps.
“Lurrrve the color against her dark skin.” !
i so agree with you! For me dusky always rings like some kind of dirt covered thing, not a compliment at all.
I think dusky is the right word to describe Padma’s skin colour. For example, you couldn’t use dusky to describe someone like Michelle Obama – who is a very striking dark skinned woman.
My jaw’s on the floor… stunning.. she owns the look
SHe looks stunning!
Now I am thinking I got to quickly wear the new dress I bought in the exact same color. This color sure looks delish on Indian skin tone…She does look divine by the way!
Love!!! Stunning.
love the colour on her!!!
My best dressed pick at the Emmys.
Indeed, love the colour on her skin tone. the silhouette is flattering on her too.
This is the perfect dress for her.. and the perfect way to WEAR a gown.. so statuesque. I’m in love.
