Considering she was just spotted wearing a red version of this dress last week, not sure why Kalyani wore this grey one so soon. That aside, love the look minus that hat. It was so unnecessary.

  1. the hat is totally off with this dress and of course, I hate the boots. I think someone as tall as Sonam can carry and ankle boot with a dress. The boot give her a disjointed look and makes her legs look short. I do like the shoes worn by the lady standing behind her.

  2. I think it’s a big no no to wear the same dress in a different colour so soon.
I much prefer the red version on her. This makes her seem older than what she is.

  3. Can’t believe how many badly dressed people were at the party – Priya Tanna for one. Feroze Gujral needs to start dressing her age. But Ritika Awasthi (who is she?) and a lady in a wool dress with a chanel bag looked good. Sorry for going off on a tangent. Just surprised that this was the best the guests could do.

Btw. The lady behind her looks fab, just look at thoese shoes. <3
Back to Kalyani, I like everything minus the hat and stockings.

  5. I don’t know if I’m the minority, but I love this look! The hat just adds to it. I’ve rarely seen Indian celebs wearing hats. So,YAY for wearing it and looking great!

  6. sheer stockings to a poolside party??!!!………and yet again, the Indian Page 3 astounds me with it’s inability to dress event appropriately!! Why?? Why??

And Ritu Beri and Anjali Chawla went to a POOLSIDE party in THIGH-HIGH BOOTS?

Are they ALL insane!!! how else do they justify their completely crazy fashion choices?!

    • this is a poolside party in December in Delhi, so not exactly tropical!! It’s winter, so winter wear is definitely appropriate, especially in Delhi!

      • I’m sorry but I disagree with that, a pool party is NEVER an occasion to whip out the thigh-high boots and sheer stockings regardless of how cold it is. And the temperature in Delhi isnt that low anyway: it’s still in the twenties, which is not tropical but still tolerable

        • and you’ll see that a LOT of other comments on here echo my surprise at seeing KC wear that to a poolside bash: there’s something called occasion appropriateness and this just doesn’t cut it

  7. It looks more Ascot than pool-side party to me, but she looks very good. The hat also adds that something extra – whimsical perhaps. Love the shoes, esp how it goes seamless from the tights to the shoes (atleast in these photos).
