She has a severe behenji vibe about the whole look, right from the color, to the glitter, to the sparkly sandals, the shiny bag and made worse by “the pose”. I need my sunglasses to even look at this photo! Ms Ambani definitely is more at home with Indian wear. This looks very uncomfy even to look at.

Yet to see Nita Ambani not look a behenji in western wear.

Completely agree. She does not look too good in western look.

Gosh I am surprised you didn’t call this a match much, forget the maroon “birkin” bag and sparkly sandals, she’s even matched her toe nail polish….rofl :-))…

    Wow.. match much !!??
And why/how do paste their eyebrows up like that? She always looks like she’s takin a peak over something

I saw this pic and felt that she reminds me of someone. It’s Aishwarya Rai. She too dresses like this, in the Blazer and pants combo and ends up looking like this. A badly dressed, semi professional, semi corporate look.

Trust her to make it look so boring!

I love the deep, rich color and it looks fab on Nita Ambani. It is however a little too matchy, much, but not disastrous. Would have preferred black shoes rather than the Bordeaux. Gorgeous bag.

    I hv one question-
What’s the difference between oxblood & maroon?

    1. Sm at | | Reply

No difference and no different from wine, burgundy either. Naming shades is a psychological hook . Doesnt cerulean sound infinitely more romantic than sky blue. Pantone has made a full fledged company out of naming of hues.

no snark – genuine question: why do some people pose with their chin held so high always? is it one of those visual slimming tricks? or does it make the person look taller?
it does not look very flattering, to me.

Its hides the double chin ; )) The same reason why you should take a selfie with the camera higher than your face.

ah. so that’s it. thanks :-)

When you’re carrying a birking, shouldnt you dress such that the bag becomes the highlight of the look? I mean her bag is in a gorgeous color so I would have liked her to bring it out more by wearing a lighter color.
I like the jacket, the bag but not together. And she needs to switch her pose.

Swap the bag to a big black envelope clutch… A black belt around the waist for some shape and peep toe sandals… She would have looked so much better
