In Peter Pilotto
Also in attendance at the Awards was socialite Niamat Bakshi who for the occasion picked a Peter Pilotto origami pleat dress. A box clutch and ankle-strap sky high heels completed the look.
My first instinct was to wish for a ponytail but more I look, less I mind the hair. The less full-skirted dress was a better pick for Niamat and one that she wore well.

I see what you mean about the hair but the shoes, the clutch- she always manages to get the balance just right.
She looks like a Barbie! I love it!!
Love that dress!! Love the Saint Laurent diagonal clutch!!
Uber chic! She’s gorgeous!
Gorgeous !!!
Hot !!! Beautiful !!
Hot and well balanced look!!
Amazing look…glad there are women like her who experiment π
I’m going to rock the boat here and disagree. It’s a beautiful, strong dress that didn’t need the distraction of the busy hair. I think a clean look would’ve let the dress shine on its own.
The makeup is also overdone and is that a hair tie I spy on gorgeous Niamat’s right wrist?
Am I the only one not going gaga over this ? Even though I like the dress it seems suitable for someone a bit younger perhaps. Also not liking the hair colour and loud makeup.
Agreed, it just looks like a mess of a clash to me :/
Completely agree. Nothing classy about this.
I would love to see how she would look if she were to tone down the hair and make-up – it’s much too loud.
The hair color is ugly. So is the make up. The dress is strictly okay. There is nothing much to like in this look.
Totally agreed! The hair/makeup look so bad here. I like the dress though, would’ve liked it on someone else!
Absolutely love this dress. It is so event appropriate and I haven’t seen a structured dress as this being pulled off so well beyond the ramp. It’s very different from other outfits that’ve been posted for the event.
Very pretty indeed.
the dress is atrocious and she looks like a primped up delhi socialite.
plus the blush adds a cartoonish layer.
I definitely agree that the hair should have been worn back- even a messy braid would have worked. But the dress is awesome and the black shoes and clutch are just right for the look. And she’s not a Delhi socialite!! She’s a human rights lawyer!!!
My neighbour’s kid made holloween costumes out of chart paper last year and it looks exactly like this!!! what a coincidence!
Fantastic look !!!
sheβs looking absolutely gorgeous
Stunning !!!!!!!!!!!
great dress but that tacky hair and makeup…not the woman to carry it off π
