Hey pnp! I live in the US and have yet to find a makeup that matches my skin tone. Most foundation here have a pink undertone that just wont match with my yellow. Looking at these celebrities and their flawless foundations make me wonder what type they use, as I have kind of the same skin tone.

I don’t know about the celebrities but what works for my skintone is mixing two foundation shades one with a yellow/brown undertone to match mine and another with pink to impart that rosy glow. I guess you’d have to try a no. of combos before finding the perfect one. I’d suggest a visit to Sephora where you can get little samples of all the colours you might find suitable and just keep mixing and matching :)

Hi there! Many of the stars love MAC (department brand cosmetics available at Macy’s, Nordstrom); Priyanka Chopra swears by MAC’s Studio Fix powder foundation (I use this myself, and it’s brilliant for Indian skin tones! I got my mother to use MAC as well). MAC has a huge variety of yellow-based makeup.

I agree with Jaya.. I live in Australia and after experimenting with various super expensive brands like Estee Lauder, I have settled for MAC… it is perfect for darker skin tones like ours… you just have to find the right type of foundation for ur skin type and ofcourse the right shade.. and apart from buying them in store… u can also buy them online, once u have found your shade.. its much cheaper online..

I swear by Cover fx the “M” line. Amazing buildable coverage and it cleared up my skin.

Have you tried Bobbi Brown? I have never looked back since I stared using BB.

You could also try Vasanti. They are a Canadian company that makes colours and tones specifically for yellow based skin. They ship to the US and the UK I think.
I have been wearing their colours for years…

        OMG thank you everyone!!
this helps a lot. I think I am going to go with the majority and go try the MAC counter. About 3 weeks ago, I spend 2 hours at sephora trying on every brand of foundation! not even ONE matched. Even all the people that worked there were perplexed :/ Thanks again everyone!

MAC and Bobbi Brown makeup are suitable for indian skin tones, both dark and fair.

She is glowing and i totally liked her suit.
Only thing i detest is shimmer on cleavage.I always see Ash done it on herself…..

overall i love the look esp the hair and make up…but i do think the deep neckline is like “look at me” sorts….ok for a actress…not ok for normal people…

she does look elegant but does one’s decolletage really need so much make up?

Love the hair and makeup…not terribly excited by the MM suit…but Neha is working it!!!

Appearances by celebrities in Hollywood always show them sporting different hairstyles – it’s sad that we can only excite over the occasional bun. Maybe if our celebs used hair and makeup stylist teams more often, we’d see more interesting, courageous hair…

Now that’s how you ‘undo’ an MM!

LOVE EVERY PART OF HER LOOK the first 10/10 on hhc ever lol and any look that was ever as near perfect as this was her red carpet one..flawless =)

The Hair do is very neat and regal however the cleavage make up is the damper of the look. This is also a bit un usual of Manish M as his designs are more more filmy and less regal

i do think he reads this site else he wudnt be making so many changes!

Not a fan of the suit. Since Neha is wearing it makes the difference. Neha’s makeup and hair I love. It’s flawless.
