In Neeta Lulla
November 10th, 2009 at 2:13 am . by PayalWe’ve seen many a Neeta Lulla creation on here and most of them have invariably fallen under the ‘WTHeyyy’ category. This one though, while not quite a ‘WTheyyy’, isn’t the best either, but, we sure wouldn’t mind seeing more of this style rather than ugly dhoti/nartaki pants or uber-blingy sari-like lehengas.

Agreed, sort of actually a pretty dress. The gold dimond in the middle is unnecesary, and both of them wear it horribly, but it’s workable.

she might be the girl who was in the serial India Calling. The show was on Star One some time back. I think her name was chandini in it. I cant seem to remember her real name.. Hope this helps!

I thought it was a sari with a big buckle belt… but its a gown?? The fabric and the print looks like a cheap sari.
I bought a mint green sari from Neeta Lulla last year which has almost exactly the same gold print throughout but the border of the sari is embellished with light yellow stones. It’s my favourite sari and seeing this seems like the same fabric but in another colour just stitched up differently minus the embellished border….not so keen, are the seasoned designers having a creativity drought?
Yeh to saree hai boss ! I once played Rani Laxmi Bai ( Freedom Fighter) in school and used the same kind of red saree and kamarband (Belt)..
I was wearing a blouse though…

I think its a sari draped differently.. the model wears it with a strapless blouse.. clinched at the waist and shoulders …
