Clutch Spotting
October 15th, 2009 at 12:48 am . by PriyankaIt made for a refreshing change to finally have a ‘bag spotting‘ post that wasn’t about Bottega Veneta, LV, Gucci or the usual suspects… Spotted Ms. Mahtani with the Goyard St. Marie MM Pouchette (retails for about $830) at the ongoing Couture Week.
The pouchette itself am not a fan of but love the re-interpreted shirt-dress and think Nandita wears it really well.

OMG that shirt dress is indeed hard to pull off, but she did a decent job.
On the other hand that ugly pouchette thing is overly over priced. I wouldn’t want it for free let alone spend over 800 dollars for it. It seriously reminds me of these pouch thingies I’ve seen kids carry to school in India.

i think its the hair colour. too brassy for her complexion. but i do think she rocks the dress and i do think the pouchette looks like my son’s pencil bag. i love her nail paint though. its almost always this colour

goyard is quiet popular among hollywood women, but i never thought i’ll see it on an indian (they can’t look beyond their gucci, lv and dior)
btw..they do make nice bags. altnough not this pouchette. looks more like a pencil pouch you get at target.

Pochette usually but this particular one is called a ‘pouchette’.
i want to like that dress/shirt but i have this irrational fear that something is gonna pop out accidentally! its not a safe choice if u gonna be movin around a lot.
whats that.. a toileteries case? Looks perfect for my Million dollar toothbrush and crushed diamonds toothpaste. I wouldnt spend more than a dollar for that bag!
The dress looks good on her! Someone do something about this woman’s hair. Its always messy, strawlike and has an unfortunate color.
