      i think it is raw silk… my mom has a very similar saree…

        I think it is a bhagalpuri tussar. Never seen one in this color, but the nubby texture and earthy sheen seems typical of tussars from Bhagalpur. The raw silk sarees that I have do not have the same texture, but I may be mistaken here.

    I love the saree. This look could have been perfect if only for a better drape of pallu and better blouse. She looks tall and statuesque otherwise.

    Sorry, no love here… Not even an almost for me. Lovely as the saree looks, the visible innerwear and the odd fit (consequently exposing a good amount of what is usually covered) kills the look. No faulting the rest of the drape though.
