Mini’s choices are offbeat and interesting, but seem a “not quite”. Her saris should look good, but somehow end up looking a little frumpy and draggy, casually draped without any clean lines. This looks like an unstarched cotton sari on the verge of crumpling.

That is an open weave linen saree, hence the “draggy” look. I have the exact same saree…trust me, you can wear it to the White House :)

Where did you get it from?

Draping is tad sloppy, but I love the saree.

I love the sari, I love the necklace and I love the clutch. I don’t love the blouse. Having said that, so very refreshing to see someone else own their style and is not afraid of doing desi. Bravo!

I always look forward to what type of sari mini will wear next.. She wears the latest weaves. This is one stunning jute saree.. I wish you could ID it for me.. Is it bailou? Really want to get one. Mini looks so lovely n stylish.. Trendy in indian.. She stands out in a sea of made up faces in borrowed /styled clothes. It’s nice to see a celebrity do her own thing without trying to fit in to the mould or ape blindly.

I love Mini’s sense of style when it comes to Sarees…i just love that she picks non-blingy ones and styles them so perfectly with awesome necklaces and is just so comfortable in them…this is not one of my fav saree looks from her but i think she still looks lovely!
