For their second anniversary, Marie Claire invited several designers to dress up two-feet tall Rajasthani puppets in their signature style and here are some of them.

I can’t decide on a favorite, love the OTT nature of the Gaurav Gupta gown and the simple white of the Rohit Bal one. Do you have a favorite?

    Oooh love Gaurav Gupta, he transformed the humble kathputli in to a piece of art while remaining true to the traditional colors used (well mainly red). Love it love it love it!

    Sabyasachi’s creation reminds me of Rani’s character in Black. It looks like something her character would have worn.

    Very creative idea! All the designers executed well, can’t say i have any complaints. Gaurav and Rohit’s are pretty awesome :)
