she’s a brave lady..not to fall under peer pressure :D.. she wears what she wants despite others tagging it as behenji.. that’s called style my friend!

  2. pdaervo says:

    I tag it as behehji…
    I do not like

  3. mishal says:

    well.. i like the dupatta

  4. Sharin says:

I like it..she looks very fresh.

  5. K says:

I dont like her. some people just have this “air.”

  6. bubs says:

Theres so much fabulous ethnic wear out there, and with all the money she must now have, theres no real excuse to be wearing such a frumpy number as this- and the accessories leave a lot to be desired also.

  7. Trisha says:

I don’t how she does it but TACKY!!! and everytime

  8. krish says:

i think its great she decides to wear indian at events…

  9. OMG says:

You either got it or you dont.
    unfortunately u cant buy it…

  10. pratik says:

AN ITEM GIRL IN SHEEPS CLOTHING-NOW WE’VE SEEN IT ALL!

  11. Natasha says:

I actually quite like it- it seems cool in this heat, comfortable, pretty, very Indian and it suits her. Why must everyone be chasing designers and western fashions? Good for you Ms Dutt.

  12. Monkey says:

It could be that she’s a very simple person who doesn’t mind dressing normal. Her clothes aren’t bad, but maybe they don’t have much “personality” in them.

  13. suraima says:

Totally agree with deewani. Why everyone who doesn’t wear western Armanis or Diors or whatever is behenji?

  14. karishma says:

this is what she’s wearing to hifi mumbai parties?? there are so many nice indian clothes out there if she wants to dress conservatively. i don’t understand why she can’t dress better.

  15. ritu says:

    behenji in bombay

  16. Priti says:

I dont know what you guys are complaining about…I think she is looking quite nice…and we need to keep in mind that her husband is now politically involved so she cannot wear western clothes…atleast in big public functions.

  17. ria says:

Hello Mrs.Dutt, Ms Prim and Proper Anu Dewan is opening a fashion school. How to look the same every time right to the clothes and the pose and the cute smile. How about you as her first student. That will keep her busy for a while :)

  18. ritz says:

she dresses this way to give an expression that she is homely and she don’t interest in sanju’s money. she wants to change her image thats it.

  19. Annnmmmmm says:

I like it – its simple and sweet….I don’t think there is anything TACKY about this outfit…

  20. AA says:

Does anyone else think she looks a bit like Manisha Koirala?…esp Manisha playing simple Indian girl in a bollywood movie?

  21. CocoNUT says:

At least this time her makeup isn’t as harsh…hmm and also her bindi matches her dupatta LOL

I think it’s fine she’s wearing ethnic clothes, but I agree with most of you that there are so many more choices out there that she could have picked from. Her clothes seem very out dated, like from the 90s..oh and i HATE those kinds of ‘box’ purses eww

  22. Annie says:

This is such a dated look. I wonder why photographers take her pictures…waste of time and space

  23. akaa says:

Hmm.. this is tacky!! Not because it isn’t a Dior/Armani etc. .. but b’coz of all the lovely ethnic, tarditional wear available here in India, why did she pick this up ?? The same thing in cotton/chikankari would have made such a huge difference.

  24. apsara77 says:

ok, so obviously this isn’t high fashion, but i don’t think Manyata has ever been known for that..i think she looks nice here…

  25. me says:

She has nice feature, high cheek bones, nice oval face, nice hair nice eyebrows, healthy skin, nice skinny body, she just need an stylist that Muna bhai can hire to make her look better

  26. Ksmommy says:

‘Shabnam from Hyderabad’?! Thats how she looks to me – all the time &/or probably thats her isshtyle! BTW, I have lvd in Hyd(India) all my life.

  27. Jyoti says:

Sorry, I don’t see why y’all think she is a behenji. Its a simple good old salwar kameez in a beautiful white and green combination. She has stunning features as well.
All those who think she looks tacky need to take a better look at themselves.

  28. Laila says:

Did she borrow this shalwar suit from her grandmother? This style is so outdated. I normally wear a version of this as my pyjamas.
