The due behind sure approves :-)

one’s got to give it to her. She always looks so fresh and bright eyed – even when in the most horrendous makeup and clothes.

This dress is definitely much better than some we have seen on her though.

she must have really stood out dressed like this at the Ivy. It is warm in LA and NO one wears a summer dress with black tights, next time she should try a pair of jean with a white shirt.

@ Dipti – I’ve seen many celebs/mortals there wearing tights with dresses/shorts/skirts in the past week! ..

Yes she does look good – it’s amazing how she probably spend just 20 dollars on this dress but looks a million times better than tons of bollywood actresses/’socialities’ who fork out hundreds of dollars only to end up on several ‘what was she thinking’ lists.

I agree with nefertiti in that she does always look bright eyed and ready to go ! The dress is surely teeni-sh and is made for them and their body types ( not so heavy on top) She is funny….I don’t know why

She looks bright and cute, though she could have given the tights a miss.

  10. monika at | | Reply

Yesh, the dress is not age appropriate but much better than her prior choices.

@pri wearing a dress with tights is fine, wearing a summer dress with frills and black tights and pumps is very promish, and one does not dress like this when eating at a restaurant like Ivy.

she has the best clevage is the whole world
    exoctic !

she does have a good body but a questionable dress sense. i like that she’s not stick thin and she’s proud of her curves.

This one looks good on Mallika ..and doesn’t look vulgar perhaps. I doubt that any other b-town actress could look that cheery in that dress.

I think she looks cute. She does her own thing which I applaud.

    Horrid and tacky…period

She looks like a grown women wearing a dress for a teenager – wannabe HW starlet. Plus the tights and shoes are not appropriate for that dress.

Her hair does look good though.

  18. R at | | Reply

i like her. her sense of style… not so much!

  19. keya at | | Reply

I still dont get why these women in their 30s dress like teenagers??!?…. there are plenty of prety dresses out there to flatter you at any age…
and what about those ugly shoes???……

I sense it maybe a number of years since this lady (I use the word lightly) was 21, she is showing herself up dressing completely inapropriately for The Ivy – tights with that dress, at that restaurant, cheap cheap cheap…

  22. charan at | | Reply

    awww… she looks cute.

  23. charan at | | Reply

@Keya – Can you give me some examples of what women in 30s should wear because i dont get it?
I see nothing wrong with this dress.

  24. Pri at | | Reply

@Dipti – I’m sorry, but have you seen how quite a few women come dressed to the Ivy – and by this I mean their outrageous clothes?? I think her outfit is fine..YES she could have lost the frills underneath because it makes it too frocklike but apart from that one minor detail then it’s FINE especially when compared to many others out theere. And yes, she could have lost the tights but atlaest it was dinner and not lunch!

  25. R at | | Reply

if women in their 30s have a body like that, i see no reason why they shouldn’t wear clothes like that. except for the frill… it IS all good, actually.

  26. Monika at | | Reply

nice dress .. except frill and tights .. not very cheap , only 24.80$

  27. Monika at | | Reply

sorry , please remove ‘not’ from above comment

  28. nefertiti at | | Reply

dresses (or jeans) that are cheap aren’t always badly made. Some are pretty well structured, but work only on someone with a very good figure.

that is my plan – work hard to get that good body and not spend a lot on clothes ;) heh..

lol, it’s funny how much BETTER she looks when she covers up just a bit:)

  30. josie at | | Reply

in case she didnt know, celebrites dont wear forever 21 dress ..and that dress is more suited to wear at a homecoming than at a resturnt by 30 somethin year old woman

  31. keya at | | Reply

By looking at the dress itselfyou can figure it out..
anyways… these are the things teeny about the dress
    1) the frock like cut
2)frill with that 100% cotton fabric(there is nothing wrong with cotton fabric and even the frills are ok if done it in a right way here its pure teen)
3)The net beneath the bottom hald that makes the hem of the dres – again… teeny

In short this is a perfect cute dress for a highschool girl’s prom night.
    Not for grown ups :)

I dont have anything more to say

@Dipti, lol, you obviously haven’t really been to LA recently
she looks cute and fresh, it would have looked more age aproproate wihout the tights but…
and she DOES have a fab body, I love this lady
