Keeping It Simple

Mallika Sherawat is also in Cannes to promote her upcoming movies and attended the opening night dinner wearing a white gown that she paired with a simple kundan necklace. It is a simple look, nothing quite out of the ordinary, but I rather take this over a beautiful gown ruined by bad hair.

  2. She kooks gorgeous!! She is around the same age as Aishwarya but looks so much younger. Aish should have hit the gym considering she knew she would be coming to Cannes.

  3. Ok so I never thought I would say this but Mallika looks miles ahead and above Aish with this appearance. Simple but handled flawlessly. Which is rare for her but pleasantly surprising.

    • I completely agree. She’s hit the nail on this one. I also like that she looks really happy and is enjoying herself and is not trying to pose in front of the cameras and look beautiful. (That awful smirk Ms. Rai sports is just soooo wannabe.)

Oh man, this shows that an appearance is more than just a pretty face.

  7. So this is a classic case of winning by comparison with oneself. Mallika Sherawat won this round because compared to how she normally presents herself, she is miles ahead and much too gracious. I’m still rubbbing my eyes on this one.

Aish lost because compared to her normal appearances and beauty waxed eloquent, her appearance was a let down.

I never ever thought I would say this, but Madame Sherawat has almost equalled Rai this time at Cannes. She is (again, I never thought I would be saying it this life, but…) She is looking graceful.!!

  10. mallika and salma both look awesome. one has to give credit to mallika, she’s standing next to a hollywood superstar and she looks equally as gorgeous as her.

  13. I hold my breath and expect the worst every time there is a Mallika post! Therefore my main feeling here is one of relief 🙂

Ok, relieved now.. the only thing I would pick (on) is her fixed expression in EVERY photo I have seen of hers. The dress is fine, the necklace is an unusual but acceptable choice and she has NOT messed up her hair. Good for her!
