An Almost Ditto?

It almost seems like a ‘Ditto’ but we find it hard to believe that this would happen, where at the same event, two people would end up wearing the same oufit. And even harder to believe, when one of the concerned party is Malaika!

  2. OMG!! I’d straight away run for my car.
Just cannot imagine that situation but this incident will certainly go down in history!! Same dress and same color , could not have been worse.INCOMPREHENSIBLE!!
@manisha not sure if the stylists know what the other celebrity will be wearing for a certain event??

  3. I think the designer should have warned them that they sold more of that dress to other people.I think celebrities pay them $$$$$$ for one of a kind outfit.

  4. The dresses do gross injustice to both women. For one, the color is meant for gauzy, chiffony fabric if used as a gown. A saree/kurti/salwar set can do well with this fabric. For such a strong color, a gown should be floaty. Malaika looks washed-out, and those shoes, did she really have to flaunt them too? Parvaty scores for hair and accessories, but the designer has done them wrong. I guess I have a high standard thinking of the vintage valentino that jennifer garner so dreamily floated in one award presentation show.

  5. LoL that was funny XD

I think Malaika looks great in it. During the Q&A round with the girls I kept thinking how she is better looking than most of the contestants lol

  9. I can’t believe the dresses are by different designers!! Has one copied the other or have they both copied from another source, e.g. a Western designer? It seems like the latter to me, because if one had copied the other then they would at least TRY to make it look slightly different and not a straight up copy, whereas when they copy Western designers they think they have less chances of being caught/confronted so they don’t hesitate to rip it off 100%.

  10. Malaika is just too pretty!! She has successfully overshadowed a reigning Miss India/ Miss World runner-up in the same outfit at the exact same event!!
LOL, Talk about beating someone on their own turf!

  11. @Anu*: that shouldn’t be too difficult or surprising considering Malaika has been in showbiz for over 15 years and the other girl is just starting out.
