At the party held in honor of designer Wendell Rodricks being awarded the Padma Shri, we spotted the longtime loyalist, Malaika sport a look by the designer. The jumpsuit would’ve worked on her had she taken the time to get the length hemmed and pick different shoes. Pity, since ankle-up we had no complaints!

I’m generally not nitpicky and almost never notice some of the details the other commentors do…but is there something odd going on with the fit in the crotch area? or is it the phot? or are my eyes playing tricks
Nah, your eyes aren’t playing any tricks. the fit around the crotch is majorly odd.

i like Malaika and how she exudes style but she seems to be making mistakes that does not give her full marks and makes me wonder if that style tag even belongs to her. Why would u wear those hideous shoes…it kills the sharpness of the look and ofcos the length of the pants..you almost had me!
Doesn’t this outfit have crotch issues…a possible mini camel toe in my sight
Waist up – OK, waist down – big problems. The pants fit badly giving her a (non-existent) tummy and showing off her hips to disadvantage. Those shoes are a no-no with this, she needed open-toed sandals to get this outfit to breathe.
Anything in the name of fashion?
