    • I agree. Her look seems practical. I don’t fancy having to take off boots at each security checkpoint. And wearing shades indoors seems so ‘wannabe’.

  1. Sonal definitely wins this this 1. How cool does she look. Better than the same boring airport celeb dressing. It’s like every1 else checks what the other is wearing to the airports. Maybe because Sonal is younger. Perfect.

  4. Seriously, they all look like wannabe American women. This is called copying style blindly whether or not it applies to local conditions. Boots in Mumbai summer or boots anytime of the year in India is a effing joke. It’s like how yesteryear actors would wear trench coats and fedora hats in scorching heat just so they could look stylish in some of their movies. I really wish they get called for their stupidity.

      • LOL! I am born and brought up in India. It’s been only three years since I have relocated to one of the coldest places in North America. It’s spring time in Vancouver now and 7 degrees does not require boots. At least not for the ladies in question who travel in car from hotel to airport. I’m sorry but boots in Mumbai in a effing joke. Most bollywood people copy Western style even if it does not bode well in local conditions and that is stupid. Even when I was based in Delhi, the winters there did not require boots. It still is only a fashion statement in Delhi. Unless you are traveling up North (of Delhi) in winter, boots aren’t required anywhere in India. And, I have traveled all over India, Asia and North America.

I see you thought up this little caveat after a slight re-think…as compared to your previously obnoxious generalisation…
The North of Delhi comprises of a very large portion of India Rii,and with rather high boot-wearing potential..and I didn’t know fashion needed to succumb to utilitarian pressures as well..
