In the latest photoshoot released by photographer Dabboo Ratnani, Malaika wears a festive Vikram Phadnis lehenga from the Shagun fashion show where she walked for the designer.

  1. Her hair looks more lively in this…usually its limp! That necklace is FAB!

I love the drawers in the background but the dupatta is lost… maybe she could have draped it differently. x

  2. She can do no wrong for me after her recent Munni item number in Dabangg (how gorgeous was she in that song?!!)

I think she looks great here.

The only thing I don’t like are those little white balls around the edge of the necklace? What are those.

Everything else looks lovely. I adore traditional Indian clothes.

    • Lol. Yes the expression is well phrased.

Anyways, thats the least skin i have seen on Malaika ?? Wonder how much the mag had to pay her to be able to cover her up with that much cloth.

I am missing a bindi. But the outfit is pretty !

  3. Just clicked on the runway one, that one is lovely too!!
I wonder if it would work to wear ponytail or braid with these kinds of lengha-cholis? Or would that look “wrong” somehow?

  4. She looks gorgeous and i really like the outfit too! I’m so glad she chose that necklace instead of the one from the runway..
Only one minor complaint – i don’t like the look on her face.. wish Daboo-ji chose a better snap with a warmer expression… this one she should save for those FHM bedroom-scene photos.

  5. Much prefer it on Malaika than on the runway, not only it brings out the true colors but the women herself does full justice to the clothes as well as the neck piece.

The depth of the neckline is perfect, it does not hides the beautiful necklace and doesn’t make the neck seem too busy either (as seen on Netra)……TWO THUMBS up!

  6. Fab , except that malika’s expression doesn’t gel with that attire .
Don’t know what made me like a black and gold lehnga the first time , either the pop pf teal blue or malika’s herself 🙂

  7. her face looks photo shopped and lack of bindi kills the mood of the look and the neck up and neck down look like 2 different themes altogether.. !
