Her hair looks more lively in this…usually its limp! That necklace is FAB!

I love the drawers in the background but the dupatta is lost… maybe she could have draped it differently. x

She can do no wrong for me after her recent Munni item number in Dabangg (how gorgeous was she in that song?!!)

I think she looks great here.

The only thing I don’t like are those little white balls around the edge of the necklace? What are those.

Everything else looks lovely. I adore traditional Indian clothes.

Oh thanks guys! Yea, pearls is probably right (I think I’d have liked them more if they weren’t all uneven on the necklace.)

Love the pop of blue on the dull ensemble and the nude makeup on the busy busy dress..

Daaaaamn. She is SO hot! Definitely prefer this to the one she wore on the runway.

I like the lehenga. The skirt is very Manish M-isque with velvet and all that work.

gosh, lighting is so crucial for pictures! malaika’s looks elegant and the model looks garish/blingy

prefer on malaika minus her expression (constipated sexy).

Lol. Yes the expression is well phrased.

Anyways, thats the least skin i have seen on Malaika ?? Wonder how much the mag had to pay her to be able to cover her up with that much cloth.

I am missing a bindi. But the outfit is pretty !

Just clicked on the runway one, that one is lovely too!!
I wonder if it would work to wear ponytail or braid with these kinds of lengha-cholis? Or would that look “wrong” somehow?

She looks gorgeous and i really like the outfit too! I’m so glad she chose that necklace instead of the one from the runway..
Only one minor complaint – i don’t like the look on her face.. wish Daboo-ji chose a better snap with a warmer expression… this one she should save for those FHM bedroom-scene photos.

Much prefer it on Malaika than on the runway, not only it brings out the true colors but the women herself does full justice to the clothes as well as the neck piece.

The depth of the neckline is perfect, it does not hides the beautiful necklace and doesn’t make the neck seem too busy either (as seen on Netra)……TWO THUMBS up!

is that nethra raghuraman on the side? How amazing does she look!

Fab , except that malika’s expression doesn’t gel with that attire .
Don’t know what made me like a black and gold lehnga the first time , either the pop pf teal blue or malika’s herself :)

    1. Adara at | | Reply

I don’t think its black. It’s deep purple.

      1. hsap at | | Reply

        i didn’t notice that

Her tummy around the waist looks gouged out.

  16. padma at | | Reply

is that really her waist, is it really that small or is it just an overworked airbrush(er)

The right expressions, neckless, ring, hair and the makeup. Don’t even care about the outfit!

this lehenga doesnt work for me ………toooo gaudy n very typical.

The colours look rich and nice enough in a photoshoot but in real life the dress looks ghastly.

her face looks photo shopped and lack of bindi kills the mood of the look and the neck up and neck down look like 2 different themes altogether.. !
