In Plakinger
At Natasha Poonawalla’s baby shower, Malaika sported a striped Plakinger maxi with vintage gold earrings and a sleek top knot. Even though she looked good, given that this was an afternoon event, the look felt a bit formal. This look should’ve been saved for an evening event.
Don’t you think?
Malaika Arora at Natasha Poonawalla’s Baby Shower
There’s been this change in Malaika’s outfits lately, and it quite suits her.
luving the new malaika
Whatever was the time, loved the look. And its definitely a welcome change… π
The pleats make it look a bit dramatic
But because of the material it is clearly a maxi and not a gown so I think she looks fine even for a daytime event. Especially cause she toned down the jewelry and the hair. the makeup is also very ladies-who-lunch
So I think she looks lovely
(Hate to pile on to what was way too harsh critisism on the SK post but feels a tad hypocritical to call out some for being event in appropriate but not others, no?)
I thought the same. some people get away with all kinds of dressing, while some lesser mortals have to be event appropriate.
to me this looks fine for a day event.
Just impressed that she has been dressing like an adult recently.
Love the classy malaika
are painted eye-brows a thing now? smh
I think this is Malaika’s off-duty casual afternoon look π She really knows how to sass anything up! And I personally love this maxi-gown look. Its glam yet looks comfy. And pls note – no skin/cleavage show. Am sure thats afternoon enough for her π
She is covered head to toe, great! But somehow still always comes out looking tacky. Yes, it is more of the personality rather than the clothes itself plus that silly posing.
Dress does not define oneβs personality Iβm afraid. Tacky dressing doesn’t symbolize their personality.
Maybe, but personality has a lot to do with how some of the looks work. Even pretty loud clothes have worked on some one like Karisma or Nimrat just because it is THEM and though I might dislike the outfit, the overall look usually works.
The people you mentioned, it is their looks may be. But personality has nothing to do with it.
