In French Connection

Me no like-reminds me of something like a flight attendant uniform for Swissair or Kingfisher or something another. Not that it’s all that ugly or anything but definitely not worth the big bucks these ladies must spend on it.
@ Sej: French connection is (generally) not all that expensive, I’ve seen this dress at shops and it retails for less than $100.
Personally, I think it’s the kind of dress that looks bad on the rack because it’s so structured but looks fabulous on the right body type and skin tone. The dramatic starkness of the red combined with the edgy silhoutte makes it striking. It compements Mahdeep’s skin colour and her makeup works perfectly with it, alothugh Im not too fond of her hair.
As an afterthought I clicked on the link and saw the dress wasn’t a splurge but I don’t know it’s just not working for me. Maheep looks nice so at least it’s not a disaster like it would’ve been on many of the other gals (e.g. PC) who can never get their hair or makeup etc right nowadays.

It is a feirce cool dress. Some feirce heels and sunglasses (not at night obviously) would pull the look together quite nicely.
I have seen her previous photos and this woman always looks snazzy, cool, and best of all she is never “over done”.
Good style is just as much about restraint. I like her ability to combine the right amount of structure with a dose of naturalness that makes her look always effortlessly cool.
