Back from IIFA, Madhuri was back to work on the JDJ sets giving us two looks, one of which made our jaws drop. In the red Zara blazer look (with the Valliyan necklace), she looked amazing!

The Nikasha sari look was nice but the middle parted hair felt a bit severe.

Which look do you love more?

  1. She looks so much like Shraddha(The Aashiqui 2 girl) in the red blazer. After seeing that look I don’t even have a problem with the severe hair !

  2. And there, Madhuri also starts to look like everyone else! While I agree that mid-90s style is blahh, its not fun when they start styling in a way that doesn’t reflect the personalities they have built up over the years. Even Parineeti appears to be losing her spunky own personality now…

I love good style but not when it means looking like someone else.

Or may be its just a crabby time of the month for me 🙂

  3. Ok so I didn’t think this was jaw dropping. She certainly looks “nice” but that’s about it for me.
The blazer look is nicer but hate those shoes…a pair of pumps would’ve transformed this for me.
Also this is nothing against Mads but anyone else over the one armed “I-am-a-teapot” look? Its everywhere and now even the non-celeb face-bookers are doing it…sigh!

    • Hah! But that one arm pose, tea pot stance aka “american pose” has been there for a while now at least from the time FB started up in 2004. It recently probably caught up with the bolly celebs/ others in India. 😛

  4. Wow, love the blazer look! So nice to see her in more tailored silhouettes for a change. And hair! Hair makes so much of a difference to a look.

The sari is also very nice too and my problem with it isn’t the hair so much as it is the overload of eyeliner.

  5. Wowza!! She looks fab! Nitpicking about the fit of the pants, it maybe just this picture. Love everything else, even the hair in the saree attire.

  6. Twin bonanza!!! LOVE it!! This is the Madhuri I remember……how elegant & gorgeous! I prefer the sari…it accentuates her assets & beauty!

  7. I love the saree look. Its a gorgeous saree and she draped it perfectly. The blazer look makes her look like everyone else (as silly as this may sound). But i love her hair styled like in the blazer look.

  8. While she looks great in the blazer look and the whole outfit is a welcome change on her.. I am finding the whole shirt + trousers + blazer and high ponytail look very corporate -ish .. this is how people dress up for office.. not for judging TV shows

  9. The black trouser like pants give it the office feel rather than a classy one.Wish they were straight up cropped black pants .She looks great in both the pics.I somehow always liked her more in western wear.In Indian wear she looks her age.

  10. Love the blazer maybe because I have the similar blazer ;-).
However she should have paired it with beige colored pants and neutral colored shoes.
