The hair sure made for a welcome change… The ponytail was refreshing! We like.

This is her personal best in recent times. Now to polish it up. The trousers need to be better fitted, the top and jacket need to be an inch shorter, the hair puff needs to be a couple of cms shorter. and better shoes please. Then she makes the cut. Just about.
considering madhuri is given far more importance and protocol by the industry in public or events for the public … and maybe back in the day madhuri was a step above sri devi in the race to to be number one … but today … sri devi is totally killing madhuri ….
Nope, compare this photo with the latest Sri photo in the grey dress, Madhuri looks more natural and happy. There is a stiffness to Sri in western wear. There is a reason Madhuri gets the endorsements, she looks easy and natural and people can connect with her. She looks like someone I could have a breezy chat with, style is also personality.
Completely agree with you on the “style is also personality” bit. Madhuri looks amazing here! I actually liked Sridevi too, but yup Madhuri does look more relaxed and natural here. It’s amazing the difference a suitable hairstyle and good posture/confidence make to one’s looks!

I’m sorry but I don’t this is working. There seems to be a mismatch between the face+hair+makeup and the rest of her outfit. In isolation, they work fine – although I would have preferred the pants without the awkward wrinkling at the knee.The poof in the hair is too severe for a casual outfit like this. And you can’t help but think of Deepika when you see an outfit like this – not because no one else wears it, only because she’s the one (public figure) that wears it best.
The drop earrings killed the look. A small stud would have maintained the casual sophistication of the look… This earring just makes her look like playing dressup…
