LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Nandita Thirani

That time of the year is upon us! *rubs hands in glee*

Day one of LFW saw Nandita Thirani present a collection that we just couldn’t get ourselves to warm up to. Besides being very, very disconnected, none of the designs really stood out. When they did, not for the right reasons.

Feel free to disagree with us in the comment section!

  1. I actually like the collection. Cannot comment on her previous appearances because I haven’t really followed her designs, but thsi is not bad.

  2. These are absolutely striking and powerful designs! Love the Black one in the first row on the extreme. The purple/gold one in the 2nd row seemed to automatically connect to Poorna Jagannathan’s style quotient. And the first one in the 3rd row also has power written all over it. Love the collection!

  3. She clearly didn’t have a singular vision for the collection, which is unfortunate, but that isn’t enough reason to take away from a lot of pieces, which are quite striking.
I would rate her rather higher than many.
