LFW Winter/Festive 2010: Manish Malhotra

Let’s hand it to the man, Manish knows just who his audience is and what his audience wants and sees nothing wrong in showing collection after collection of just that. Manish Malhotra has it down to a science, ladies and gentlemen. Besides the expected voluminous anarkalis and sheer saris, there were harem pants, salwar-kameezes and some western silhouettes in various shades of reds and blues mostly, those being the colors of Aircel, the sponsors of the show.

Yes it was repetitive. Some of it very pretty. And before the ink dries (or it’s equivalent in the web world), half of Bollywood would be spotted in it. So to speak.

Can’t help but comment on the timing of the pictures…in some pics, the models looks one-legged ;)..especially the last pic!!! 😛

  3. the blue & red color combo looks very royal & nice and also reminds me of the british army (East India Company army) uniform.

p.s: the last model looks as if she is walking on one foot 🙂

  5. I want:
#5 — minus the crazy pants
#9, #10, #11, #12 — It’s this shade of red and this perfect shade of blue that just makes me want these outfits so badly! SO SO SO PRETY!!!

  6. Payal and Priyanka, is it just my lappie or is there a new ad placement that covers the lower quarter of every photo? Its quite disconcerting. I wish you girls would not place such big ads on the photos themselves.

  7. Woa, I am surprised, a good collection from MM!! Makes me happy. I love the sheer saree (as much as I don’t like sheer fabric, but this is beautiful). Nice dresses, very wearable too.

  9. PC was the show stopper and looked quite good for a change, can you cover her? She did come out with a denim jacket which she removed later to show her amazing abs (or the absence of abs)
