    • There is a definite Sadhvi vibe to all her collections, they are monkish robes, with a futuristic twist, also reminiscent of Japanese draping, Kenzo Takada, Issey Miyake, but with vibrant colours. Japanese design of course embodies a very spare aesthetic, that may also be described as monastic in spirit. THese clothes would not be out of place at an upscale ashram, Osho or Pondicherry. I don’t think Payal would consider “sadhu” a put down, though it may not be the average babe’s cup of tea.
