tacky hair extensions on Konkona. Otherwise I have no problems with her makeup.
She looks like she stole Soha’s hair and added the extensions at the bottom.
hehe now I realise why I am reminded of Soha. As for Lara please, pretty please go back to the short hair, it is way more edgy and individualistic.

The hair extension is not even attached to her hair, it is just resting on her shoulder like a duppatta .

for a minute i thought it was padma laxmi instead of lara … the concealer on konkona is really weird but the saree is quite lovely. Though i don’t like her footwear

Lara I think looks nice in this picture. I doubt it’s a look that would look good in real life–too boring.

I wouldnt mind some nice bangles on Lara either. She looks very gorgeous, but still, they would give the outfit some much needed pep.
I am glad that these actresses are wearing sarees to these dos.Tired of seeing gowns on everyone.Don’t know why it is considered hip and happening to be seen in a gown.
Both look great. Koko usually has great makeup, I think it might be the lighting.
I dont think i’d ever pick Lara’s saree in real…however she manages to look so classy…i heart!

Ghosh Lara looks so amazing.I am going to get a saree like that too.Konkana looks good with the dishevelled hair,but wish she had pit on makeup on her neck too,there’s a color mismatch.And those footwear look like a sad story
Lara’s saree is bland, but the woman looks graceful is anything. Like the saree and the draping on Koko – but the make-up and hair is hideous.
Both the ladies look like they have lost weight… I love Konkona’s sari but that dishevelled look is not exactly attractive.. Lara’s sari looks downright tacky and the fit of the blouse seems to have gone awry..
I love Konkona’s Sari..I wish her blouse was a bit less matronly. Shorter sleeves may have done the trick. Lara looks dewy and fresh. I love the simplicity of her outfit. She really shines.

Most likely it is some kind of silk.
It looks like a raw silk saree. I have one in green.
Both look lovely, but Konkona’s makeup is indeed terrible.
Probably Jute silk, handwoven. Or the body might be Tussar, and the border Jute.
Overload on foundation AND concealer. Why? And the extension were unnecessary. (Konkona)

konkana’s look is better for a more mature woman however it is event appropriate this time to wear something subdued when considering the serious theme of the function they attended.
Konkona looks like she arrived from Madame Tussauds.
