In Gauri and Nainika

Wearing a Gauri and Nainika dress, Lara taped another episode of Miss Diva today in Mumbai. Hair worn down in curls, her look was finished out with ankle-strap block sandals.
While she wore the dress well, my issue here was with the dress itself. Instead of being able to focus on the floral applique detail, my eyes went straight to the mesh bust and am not sure that was the best thing. The mesh top with the keyhole design and the stitch line through the chest was very distracting. Just me feeling that way about the dress?

baaaaaaaaaaaaaad design. I mean, seriously? do an illusion panel and then put a stitch through it? this is seamstressing 101.
I liked the bust design.
The mesh, the keyhole, that hair… all screams tacky. She is in a tacky phase. Earlier it was that godawful gaurav gupta now this.
Wonder what’s happened to her….she used to be pretty elegant, and now one tackfest after the other.
I have more problem with the hair than the stitch.
the hair needs to be pulled back into a bun or pony.
She looked confident and nice
But for me the bust looks awkward
Ummm NO. Dunno why, I have never imagined Lara in such designs. Maybe it has got to do with her personality – a calm, composed yet a strong one. She looks amazing in Indian wear, fusion wear and sexy yet classy gowns. Even when she is going for soft, feminine designs, some strong elements in attires help keep up with her personality. In this dress, she looks SO NOT HER, (to me). This gown/dress whatever is mighty umimpressive and it looks as if she has been given this by someone on the eleventh hour so that she can attend the event.
You are a wonder momma, Lara. Can do so much better! 🙂

The mesh detailing is so bad, spoils a great outfit. Nice makeup though.
