In Black Halo?

Comment image 28

In a promotional poster of the movie ‘Blue’, we spotted Lara in what we suspect is a ‘Black Halo’ Jackie-O cutout dress. I say suspect because while the colors and style are exactly the same, the dress seems more like a Lรฉger because of the way it hugs her and also the length.

Guess, we’ll have to wait for more pics to find out whether we are right or wrong! ๐Ÿ˜‰ In the meantime, you can snag the dress in several versions here.

  3. I think it is Black halo because the dress was so fitted on Serna Van Der Woodsen aka Blake Lively as well.
Also, wasn’t she sporting very short hair in Amrita’s wedding…Is this a wig or simple extensions..
whatever it is..she is looking good.

These days producers are spending tons of money on clothes! For Raaz 2, the producer spent a lot of money so that Kangana would look more authentic as a model….
And don’t forget Karan Johar, who for KANK went all out when it came to the clothes! I still remember the scene with Rani and all the LV trunks in the back! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. _*Dia*_ : if anything makes me do a 100 ab crunches ๐Ÿ˜‰ but, it is also her pose that makes her waist seem tinier. You should try it in some photograph. if you want a more hourglass look. do just what she is doing in this pic,

  6. I don’t think lara’s body has gone through extreme photoshopping – she is pretty fit, and I remember reading that actresses go through extreme dieting and workout routines before scenes and stills that require an ample display of skin. Bipasha Basu said in an interview that she didn’t eat anything for a day before her bikini shot in Dhoom 2. So that figure actually looks quite believable to me.

  7. If you gusy watch How i met your mother, season 4, episode 1, you will see Robin wearing the same dress. That should help you recognize the dress.

  9. @nefertiti- yep, you’re right. her pose is also contributing to the overall look! its surely easier to pose like this than to do crunches, eh? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. @ Payal: yup i do remember Rani’s LV trunks. but i always noticed that the producers (like KJo) spend more on shoes and bags than the actual dresses (except indian dresses ofcourse).
I know nothing about Raaz 2, so i can’t talk about that.
PS: i went on the Herve Leger website today and spent hours and hours looking at the clothes! i wish shilpa had chosen a better one ๐Ÿ™ she has the perfect body to carry off a Herve Leger!

  11. Wow! I have that dress, in a different colour way though, mine’s geranium. It looks like a modified version of it, so good on P&P for noticing. It does have a Serena Van Der Woodsen kind of fit in this picture.

It has been quite clearly photoshopped though, not that Lara doesn’t have great body anyway. Form my experience in the industry, they phtoshop a lot, even when it doesn’t need it.

  13. You guys think you know it all. Firstly, Karan Johar didn’t spend on the LV trunks in KANK, its a form of adveritsing that big brands regularly use to promote their products through movies. The only people worthy of the credit for this blog is the fashionable readers who do all the spottings for you (half the time they or the blogs that you copy from don’t get credited) and the person you got on with at MTV to get them to feature your blog.

  15. It looks like Herve Ledger to me too…
the LV/ Laran Johar talk makes me laught because I feel like that was the downfall of KANK- it was supposed to be “real” and “relatable” but portrayed soccer stars and people who can afford LV stuff (ie what KJo knows as real)
    ahem
    photoshopped for sure
and to quote Miely Cyrus “haters are insecure *insert applicable accent here*”
