Dia is way prettier !But in this particular face-off, Lara wins! The lighting of the pic makes Dia’s sari brown(or is it actually brown?), i prefer black over brown anyday.

I don’t know if it’s the lighting or the neat pleats on Lara but she makes the sari look way better than what it is. The same thing on diya looks meh!

I KNOW YOU GUYS HAD SAID LARA PERHAPS HAD TOO MUCH GOING ON WITH THE ACCESSORIES, HAIR ETC. NOW THAT WE HAVE DIA TO COMPARE WITH- I VOTE LARA FOR EXACTLY THOSE THINGS– THE ACCESSORIES, HAIR- SHE LOOKS MORE POISED, WELL PUT TOGETHER. THE MESSY HAIR ON DIA IS DISTRACTING AND SLOPPY LOOKING…

dia is beautiful as well…but lara wore the sari better..the sari looks sloppy on dia but it looks etheral on lara…again u can buy the most expensive outfits but do you have the poise for it?…some things cannnot be bought….

ok so I have a question…how do you get this look with the saree…where it narrows towards the ankles…the hourglass look? Coz with a petticoat worn underneath one gets the uniform width look ( look at Divya Dutta’s look in the blue saree). Is it acheived by wearing tights underneath instead of a regular petticoat?
SS – The narrow look is owing to the heavier border on a light material (i.e the embellished border on a georgette saree) the weight of the embellishment is what pulls the base down, hence making it look narrower. Divya’s saree is a plain one with just a fall & so it is falling straight.
