Lakshmi also wore the same Spring 2009 Dolce and Gabbana dress that we had seen earlier on Freida in Vogue India.

  1. Speaking of dazed and confused..I dont get this kind of couture at all..with all the gold chains and whatnot, I like Frieda’s look cos its more “normal” as in what I am used to..but I am not a fashionista like you good people out there, so not sure..

  2. Freida looks more classic, whereas Lakshmi looks more high fashion. Which is of course the different between Vogue and Dazed and Confused, lol.

  3. Well, its a photo shoot, you dont have to look normal. And it is kind of boring to look normal all the time. Photo shoots are fun because it can be very creative. In that sense, Lakshmi gets my vote.

To me, it looks like she’s waiting to be spanked. What an idiotic pose! And although Freida is pretty, she is in no way high fashion.

  7. I like Freida but her look in the pic is just boring, I dont even know what they are trying to show… Lakshmi’s look is just unexplainable and striking; she looks like a Egyptian Goddess/Queen.

Lakshmi gets my vote. I like the furniture in that photo better than I like Freida in that pose. Is that bad?

  14. when we were doing our mass comm course, one of the first things we were taught, was that the model should look comfortable and natural.

Frieda’s post is so wakward and awful…

  15. to use a model like lakshmi is a sure shot way that cloths will be noticed ….no one will look at face , they will concentrate on cloths instead ..

i dnt find her particularly beautiful in these shots but I cannot deny that even after an year of seeing these pics..i’ll remember this…who will remember mss pinto after a month in this shoot…

  16. Okie I think I figured out why ms pinto fails to impress me. She comer across as too eager to please, equivalent of nouveau riche infashion and high society. Whereas menon here, she owns that shoot – she has a presence
