Speaking of dazed and confused..I dont get this kind of couture at all..with all the gold chains and whatnot, I like Frieda’s look cos its more “normal” as in what I am used to..but I am not a fashionista like you good people out there, so not sure..

ok, just read the comments on the previous post of “dazed and confused”, glad I am not alone!

Freida looks more classic, whereas Lakshmi looks more high fashion. Which is of course the different between Vogue and Dazed and Confused, lol.

Well, its a photo shoot, you dont have to look normal. And it is kind of boring to look normal all the time. Photo shoots are fun because it can be very creative. In that sense, Lakshmi gets my vote.

who the hell actyally wears this stuff in real life??? this is fashion for creativity’s sake…i guess. that dazed and confused shoot…whats it meant to achieve???

right now freida stands at 56%
she looks like she is promoting the furniture next to her
looks like pintomania hasnt worn off a bit!!

    @preeths – Agree!
To me, it looks like she’s waiting to be spanked. What an idiotic pose! And although Freida is pretty, she is in no way high fashion.

I like Freida but her look in the pic is just boring, I dont even know what they are trying to show… Lakshmi’s look is just unexplainable and striking; she looks like a Egyptian Goddess/Queen.

pictures in the previous post were scary. this is just downright horrendous. i can’t look beyond her (lakshmi’s) face and have to immediately look away.

    frieda’s just boring.

lakshmi looks like a corpse lying in a coffin. brings too many bad memories especially of a recent funeral i went to.

That pose of Lakshmi reminds me of a corpse with a necklace band under the jaw to hold it in place. :-|Rude, i know.

guys did you notice the rumors that Ms. Pinto might be the next Bond girl?!! I am not totally in awe of the PR this girl is capable of. Very very impressive.

Laxmi Menon is OWNING that shot
Frieda looks very awkward (like they look a bit og her while she was turning and unprepared)

I think the stoned look is what they were going for. The magazine is called “Dazed and Confused”. xD

Lakshmi gets my vote. I like the furniture in that photo better than I like Freida in that pose. Is that bad?

@ mishal – it’s called google, use it

    i’m digging the runway one

While I think Frieda’s pose is awkward and makes no sense, Menon’s picture leaves me duh!!!
The gold chains and all.. doesnt really work for me

Gross.. in the name of high fashion. I prefer Pinto coz she atleast doesn’t make it look like a dead person.. but Lakshmi just looks scary.. may I say corpse-like

The multiple gold chains could be Givenchy.

when we were doing our mass comm course, one of the first things we were taught, was that the model should look comfortable and natural.

Frieda’s post is so wakward and awful…

  25. preeti at | | Reply

to use a model like lakshmi is a sure shot way that cloths will be noticed ….no one will look at face , they will concentrate on cloths instead ..

i dnt find her particularly beautiful in these shots but I cannot deny that even after an year of seeing these pics..i’ll remember this…who will remember mss pinto after a month in this shoot…

  26. anita at | | Reply

Okie I think I figured out why ms pinto fails to impress me. She comer across as too eager to please, equivalent of nouveau riche infashion and high society. Whereas menon here, she owns that shoot – she has a presence

I like lakshmi menon’s better…creative shoot. Freida’s pose is a bit strange lol.
