In Amit Aggarwal

Two back to back events saw Ms. Manchu do Amit Aggarwal‘s draped sari gowns both featuring leather cord detailing on the blouse and the silver one even on the belt.

Of the two, loved the former look. The hair, the make-up, just everything was perfect. (Well, we can’t see the shoes, but I guess that’s a good thing). The silver sari didn’t seem to fit well at the bust but that wasn’t the only issue. The bangles work but going with a silver clutch and shoes was just going overboard.

Which look are you liking?

  1. Was it a buy one, get one free offer? 😛 haha

All kidding aside, that shade of pink looks lovely on her but I don’t know why she’s so hell-bent on these cleopatra-eque outfits. The silver one is just plain tacky.

  2. Love the first look. The hair and the make up is amazing and she looks fresh and absolutely beautiful. The saree is not something I would wear but she looks good in it and I love the colour. Don’t like the second one at all though we have seen her in worse. She does look nice overall. 🙂

  3. How much does she resemble Esha Deol in the third and and the last pic?
Though, I can never imagine wearing this ‘Roman queen married into an Awadh household’ fusion outfit.

  4. I know everyone is saying tacky and would never wear this etc etc. I also agree, but if you look at the function she is attending or the fact that she is not attending a wedding but a red carpert event, i think both sarees are acceptable choices.

The pink looks good, The silver is begging for some dark nail polish (black or burgundy) and a darker clutch.

  5. That only shows designs like these pleated and draped jersey saree gowns do not suit real women and probably only meant for models. Her bust looks huge in the grey…so extremely unflattering.

  8. Phew, how much nicer she looks without the fringe and with her hair pulled back. I hope she does this consistently. the fringe/ bangs give her a very scraggy look that works against her
She’s looking really nice in the first outft
