LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Aarti Vijay Gupta

“I Love Ma Doodle Book” was Aarti Vijay Gupta’s collection and we’ve got to say we loved it too! Especially the color wheel & paint shade saris that provided the perfect contrast to the doodle print collared blouses. They just went on our lust list.

  1. Love child of masaba and kallol is perfect description-but hopefully he got the better qualities then a)doesnt look like a scary monster like Kallol with girly oversized sunglasses, with a clutch b) doesnt use bad fabric like Masaba, her sari’s etc are as hard as a cardboard not to forget the bad quality of someone who is supposedly the promising new generation of young Indian designers

  2. LURRVEEE!!

Although I agree it’s very similar to masaba and kallol datta, these three designers may be forming their very own forte like Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis and the many others who give us repetitive designs every year! There’s nothing wrong with this though, atleast they won’t be repetitive.. Kudos to Aarti Vijay Gupta for being inspired yet keeping it so different. Great collection!
