Lady GaGa In Manish Arora

First Katy Perry, then M.I.A, and now we have Lady Gaga sporting another creation from Manish Arora’s ‘Circus’ Collection in ‘Fabulous’ Magazine.

Well, what can I say, this really makes me wanna ‘just dance!’ 😉

Thanks ‘P’ for the tip-off!

  1. Like it way better on the model. Don’t care for that ballooned version on the pelvis area. Makes it seems like b***s growing out of the pelvis area. And the second pic–a wardrobe malfunction. Almost.

  2. I agree w/ Saya- the pink hip parts are more flattering on the model b/c they are flared out a bit more. Nonetheless, I love Lady Gaga because only she and M.I.A can rock the crazy stuff like it’s Paris couture. <3

  3. ^ agree, aslo- Lady Gaga is a bit hippish already, so those parts wouldn’t really be flattering on her
I too <3 her, and her whole fame/pop irony theme
    Love

  4. Loved the Manish Arora on Katy Perry and PC.. and even his Paris collection.. with the animals in it. This one somehow gives me the creeps.. and reminds me of a flared pelvis

  5. Azul,
A designer like Manish wil design a collection to best bring out his creative vision. It may not be absolutely Ready To Wear but you will see them toned down for the larger masses. (E.g. He will take a print and make tees or dresses out of it..)Most of the runway pieces either will be featured in an editorial or on stage…

  6. I have been to his store at the courtyard in Mumbai and the pret version is definatley more toned down, but one has to be adventerous to wear his clothes which I am not.

    NO ORANGE PAINT PLEASE!!!!
and Payal, I loved your explination, it’s something that’s frustrated me on this site for a while
OBVIOUSLY this stuff isn’t made for (normal) people to wear around everyday- no designer sells stuff stright from the runway

  8. I wish I could wear Manish Arora everyday and walk in to work. He is an artist! Sigh! My boring life! I have to wear stuff like shirts and blouses and eeeks! pants!
