Just forget that it is a saree and then try and see the outfit. looks pretty darn good on her. just saying.

So we use the pallu of a sari over the neck like a scarf and wear a white boat neck tee for a blouse. What is the designer wear element in this stupidity? That last pic with the shades on is pretty hilarious.

Agree! Would have looked really grand had she worn a matching silk blouse!

Such a lovely saree but ruined by draping the pallu around the neck and the make-shift blouse.

Gorgeous colored sari. but the way she’s wearing it is so sloppy. Would’ve loved to see how it looked with a traditional drape. Also the blouse is an eyesore.

The blouse looks out of place…Sari is nice otherwise

I’m in the minority here but the drape makes the outfit
Else it would have been just another nice sari
And while it would have looked odd on most koko makes it work

I actually love that she has done something different with the saree and made it different. I like the drape and the blouse actually. Otherwise it would have been just another saree. She looks good and it is a good blend of casual and chic in my opinion!

i too feel the draping and the cross-body bag adds an element of newness to a sari. love it

Saree and the drape. Nothing works here :(

That poor sari – it looks pretty bruised! And that cross-body with the sari is a crime.

That bib pallu is going places….as far from us as possible, I hope. Let’s imagine in a very pluralistic and lenient view it works. Still that white t-shirt thing. Seriously? Maybe a bandeau top in a matching color to the sari can make it work.
